January 2023 Board meeting minutes

CLUB RACING
Researching paid marshals, might be cost prohibitive at this time.
Researching kit sponsor change for leaders jerseys and club kit.
Looking at replacing patches with captain armbands.
PRESIDENT
Unanimous vote to buy moto riders dinner as a thank you for the hard work.
Working to start Slack channel for new members, moderators will be required.
OPEN RACING
Request to increase non-RD staff pay, proposal forthcoming. No raise in a very long time.
TREASURER
Tightening belt, canceling recurring/subscription tools that are under utilized and moving to different free or cheaper platforms.
GENERAL ITEMS
Unanimous vote to drop vaccine mandate for 2023 with caveat we will continue to follow city/state/federal guidelines and may re-instate at a later time if any of those change.
Unanimous vote to relieve outgoing board members of marshaling duties in 2023 season.
Unanimous vote to allow Cat 3 racers to self select A or B field before race if possible from race director standpoint or at minimum, at the beginning of the season and change within a window of time prior to race day, further research by Charlie.
Unanimous vote to elect Max Haight to Marshal Director
