It was the day of the breakaway, and the breakaway from the breakaway as the 2013 Club Champions were crowned in perfect racing conditions. In the Men's A race, a break of seven riders opened up a 1 minute gap which they were able to maintain. Gerado Martinez (Lupus Racing Team) was able to get away from his fellow escapees to take the win. Adam Alexander (Foundation) took second and Igor Rudalev (Lupus Racing Team) finished third. In the women's Race, Carol-Lynn Mills(Houlihan Lokey) escaped from the pack and was subsequently joined by Anna Mumford (Dave Jordan Racing) and the two were not seen again. In the final sprint Carol-Lynn had the better of Anna. The field sprint was won by Victoria Brumfield (Radical Media). Full results are here.

The Men's B field split early on and with the bigger teams well represented in the large break, they quickly opened up a 2 minute gap which grew to 5 minutes before the rest of the field was pulled. Mauricio Sanchez (Foundation) went off the front solo from the group for 3 laps, only to be chased down in the final sprint by his team mate Alex Sanborn, then hold on desperately for second place as another teammate, Laurent Gras held back his sprint. The Master's 45+ was a small field. The gentlemen shared the efforts as the rolled around for 6 of the 6.5 laps until finally Frank Arroyo put in a short sprint to take first. Full results are here.
The C race stayed together for their race and the win was taken by Mike Richford (Bicycle Planet Racing) who went early and held his lead in front of Humberto Gamarra and Siggi's Simon Phuah. Full results are here.
