The all-volunteer CRCA Board held its first meeting of 2020 on Monday, January 20th. TREASURER

TEAMS
Update on CRCA Logo requirements has been sent out to teams.
Increased marketing push to attract new teams for 2020 including a stronger focus on social media
Addressed issues regarding team duties and the need to reevaluate our needs for 2020.
MEMBERSHIP
Board discussed and voted in the affirmative to create new membership structure
No change made to associate membership
Season pass is now $150 with 2 marshal dates required
Donor membership price has been reduced to $450
A new “Volunteer” level membership for $100 will be introduced and limited to 30 members. Will require 3 marshal dates
Board discussed and vote in the affirmative to create CRCA patches for unattached riders to wear on neutral kits, replacing yellow club jersey requirement
MARSHALING
Paulette has retired and will not be the main contact any longer for marshal subs
Members who need to hire a sub will contact Marshal Director directly.
Price remains $50 to hire a substitute marshal
Discussed ways to improve marshal no-show rate and make marshal check-in more efficient
CLUB RACING
Board discussed and voted in the affirmative to institute chip timing
Chips provide instant results
Eliminate the need to check-in prior to races
Will last 5-7 years and can be reused by members
Ease administrative burden for Board/Team Duty/Staff
OPEN RACING
Dates for Open Races have been determined
