Registration for the 2019 CRCA ROKA Grant’s Tomb Criterium is currently underway! Early registration trends are very strong - see this summary from To Be Determined for details - and we are optimistic that this will be another terrific edition of the race.
We would like to give a special thanks to ROKA for their continued support of the event for a second year running:
ROKA was formed in a garage in Austin, Texas in 2011 by two former Stanford All-American swimmers on a mission to build the world’s fastest wetsuit and disrupt the endurance sport market. Creating that first wetsuit ignited a fire in us to find more opportunities to innovate and challenge the status quo.
Over the last several years, we have built an industry-leading and award-winning, in-house design and development team. 30+ patents later, we’ve expanded beyond technical apparel to performance eyewear and storage solutions, connecting with customers across a wide variety of pursuits. Our athletes have won numerous world titles, including Olympic gold in triathlon and speed skating, as well as taking multiple Tour de France cycling stages wins and the Dakar Rally.
We still design our product to do crazy stuff, but our most important design challenge is to make sure those same products kick ass for you, every day. Parents who beat the sun up to squeeze in their morning run, entrepreneurs hustling from work to play, adventure seekers who want to see the world through crystal-clear optics. We're confident our products will work for you, too, no matter how you move through your daily life.
The overall schedule for this year’s race is quite similar to the 2018 edition, though in response to feedback we did move the Juniors fields to the middle of the day to give the next generation of racers a prime-time slot at the Grant’s Tomb Criterium. The full schedule is available on Bikereg: https://www.bikereg.com/crcagrantstombcrit
As always, the race features massive early registration discounts at just $30 with escalators from there - if you wait until the week of the race the registration fee increases to $50. CRCA and CRCDF continue to support Juniors racing with an 80% discount for all Juniors fields and multi-field entries are just $20!
We look forward to seeing you on March 9th at Grant’s Tomb. Please remember that CRCA Open Races are always pre-registration only so make sure to register in advance via Bikereg (and do it sooner rather than later to save a few bucks!)
