On Sunday September 9, 2012, we will hold the Nancy Morgenstern Memorial Ride. We are all disappointed by the cancellation of the Nancy Morgenstern Memorial race at Harriman State Park and the Board is holding this ride to honor the memory of Nancy Morgenstern.
All are welcome, registration for the memorial ride will open at 7:45 A.M. at Grants Tomb, 122nd and Riverside Drive. Yaakov "Jeffrey" Morgenstern, her brother, will be there representing the family (Nancy's parents will be in Israel on that day) and will speak at 8:00 A.M. The memorial ride will go to either Piermont or Nyack and then back over the GWB. Tara Parsons will have free water bottles to distribute, so come with a bottle cage free.
A USA Cycling license is required to participate and all riders must provide a signed release. This ride is open to non-CRCA members. There is no fee for USA Cycling members but non-USA Cycling members may purchase a one day license for $10 to participate.
